Terms of Service

Effective 21 October 2026 · Version 1.0

1. The service

ZettaForge ("we", "us") operates a paid gateway that forwards requests from your applications to third-party language-model providers through an OpenAI-compatible API. We meter usage, hold prepaid credit and provide a console for managing keys, budgets and invoices.

2. Your account

You must provide accurate registration details and keep your credentials and API keys confidential. You are responsible for all activity under your account and keys, including spend caused by keys you issued. Notify us immediately if a key is compromised.

3. Credits and fees

Credits are purchased in advance and are denominated in US dollars. A platform fee, shown on the checkout screen before payment, is deducted from each top-up; the rest is added to your balance. Token prices are the provider's published list price plus any catalogue markup that is displayed on the pricing page. Per-request charges are calculated from the token counts reported by the provider; when a provider does not report usage we estimate conservatively and label the entry as an estimate.

Credits are non-transferable except where we explicitly enable gifting. They do not expire.

Each request first reserves a maximum cost. When the upstream call finishes we charge the exact cost and release the remainder. If the provider fails before delivering a response, the reservation is released in full.

4. Acceptable use

  • Do not resell raw model access in a way that removes or misrepresents the fees and provider attribution described here.
  • Do not use the service to build or operate unlawful content, malware, or systems designed to evade provider safety policies.
  • Do not attempt to bypass rate limits, caps or billing, probe other tenants' data, or interfere with the service's operation.
  • Do not use the gateway to resell access to consumer subscription products from providers that prohibit it.

We may suspend keys or accounts that violate these rules, and will explain the reason where it is lawful to do so.

5. Third-party models

Models are provided by independent providers under their own terms and data policies. Model availability, behaviour and pricing may change; we reflect price changes in the catalogue and by informing you before they apply to new calls. You are responsible for choosing a provider that meets your data residency and retention requirements.

6. Availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. The current status of our components is published at /status. Failed calls are never charged for model tokens; auxiliary services that already ran may still be charged.

7. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for the outputs of third-party models.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the operator of this instance is established. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under mandatory consumer law.
